Brow henna tints both the hair and the skin beneath it, giving clients fuller, more defined brows with a stain on the skin that outlasts a traditional tint. Paired with precise brow mapping, it's one of the most effective ways to transform a client's brows without a single needle.
This course starts with mapping, because the shape comes before the colour. You'll learn the structure of the hair follicle and how brow hair grows, why mapping matters, the tools and techniques to map accurately for each face shape, and the shaping mistakes to avoid. From there you'll learn how henna differs from hybrid dye and tint, how to patch test and colour match, and how to apply henna for a clean, defined result, plus how to remove and correct it. Consultation, contraindications, hygiene and aftercare are covered throughout.
After a live demonstration, you'll practise mapping and henna application on live models with different brow shapes and hair colours.

A year of tutor support
Technique and product troubleshooting for twelve months after you certify, plus help with your NZ Health Protection licence.
Paying for your course
Pay in full, or spread it over four or six weeks with invoices sent to you each week. Afterpay is also accepted.
A 20% deposit holds your dates with an expert educator. The balance is then split across your chosen plan. Need longer than six weeks? Ask us and we will try to accommodate you.
