Brows and lips are the two most booked cosmetic tattoo services. Learning both in one course means you can offer clients a complete look from day one, and fill your book twice as fast.
You'll start with the essentials every cosmetic tattoo artist needs: infection control, skin anatomy and Fitzpatrick skin types, consultation, consent, contraindications and the safe use of numbing agents for both brows and lips. You'll learn colour theory, pigments and undertones for both brows and lips, including lip neutralisation, and how to choose colours that heal true. You'll learn your machine and needle configurations, correct depth and stretching, then build each technique in turn: brow mapping and powder shading, followed by lip anatomy, lip-specific precautions, lip mapping and lip blushing.
Model work is at the heart of this course. Rather than bundling in a kit, we put your investment into hands-on time. You'll watch your lecturer work on a demonstration model and practise alongside them, then complete 4 full procedures on your own live models, 2 powder brows and 2 lip blushing, under close guidance, so you leave with real experience in both services.
Because great cosmetic tattooing is judged on the healed result, we cover healing in depth for both brows and lips: each stage of the healing process, how healing differs by skin type and area, aftercare methods, how to tell normal healing from infection or a reaction, and what affects pigment retention. We also cover the perfecting session, troubleshooting and corrections, and how to photograph your work.

A year of tutor support
Technique and product troubleshooting for twelve months after you certify, plus help with your NZ Health Protection licence.
Paying for your course
Pay in full, or spread it over four or six weeks with invoices sent to you each week. Afterpay is also accepted.
A 20% deposit holds your dates with an expert educator. The balance is then split across your chosen plan. Need longer than six weeks? Ask us and we will try to accommodate you.
