What you’ll learn
A beginner course, taught in person at our East Tamaki academy.
Learn to deliver a professional manicure and pedicure from consultation to massage. You'll cover the foundations — nail anatomy and health, nail systems, professional prep, filing and buffing, and salon-standard sanitisation and sterilisation — then move into the anatomy of the hand, foot and lower leg, and the disorders and contraindications you need to recognise before treating a client.
From there you'll work through the full step-by-step manicure and pedicure routine, finishing with hand and foot massage. We also cover pricing your services profitably and the essentials of starting out in the beauty industry. No prior experience required.

Technique and product troubleshooting for twelve months after you certify, plus help with your NZ Health Protection licence.
Paying for your course
Pay in full, or spread it over four or six weeks with invoices sent to you each week. Afterpay is also accepted.
A 20% deposit holds your dates with an expert educator. The balance is then split across your chosen plan. Need longer than six weeks? Ask us and we will try to accommodate you.
